So it just happened again. I just about had a word done for hangman and my computer said cannot find server after I had put in the last letter for the word. Is it my computer or internet provider or what that causes me to have to start over again in the zone with the game I was playing? this was brought up about anagrams and I wondder about hangman if a word or part of a word can be put in a program and that person can guess the word in just a few seconds. Not griping. I have fun with all the games and just wondered about my computer or is it just a lockup on the zone server that causes me to have to start a game all over again?and can hangman be cheated on?
I think it's the zone server. It's been going down a lot lately.
However, regarding hangman, I do have to wonder how certain people guess words consistently so fast. I can't possibly, using my screen reader, get to the letter links fast enough to be that fast. Same goes for Blingo. There are certain Blingo players who consistently have the fastest times for figuring out words, usually in 10 seconds or faster. I just can't navigate that fast. Even the few times when I have guessed the word correctly with my first guess, someone still has a faster time, even if they had to make 2 guesses. How do they do that?
I hear you. Glad I brought this up. I have used a screen reader a very long time and can't navigate that fast either.
As Liebra Lady says I don't think it's your computer, it's the site server.
I also agree that the scores on some games, like blingo seem to indicate that some zoners have super powers of dexterity. If you are really in a gripy mood, check out the fastest scores on blingo. That'll really get your blood flowing.
